Yeah, the slash alone isn't really enough. To make it count as a fork in the road, we're looking for a concrete plot point that diverges from canon. Otherwise this is just normal DS slashfic -- there's a LOT of f/v fic that addresses these relationship questions, and it doesn't fit our definition of AU. Now, if Fraser had joined up w Victoria ten yrs ago...then it would be a fork in the road.
