Fic is in the hands of three trustworthy betas at the moment. I know it needs work, so there's going to be a bit of scrambling next week to get things tweaked and fixed and polished up by Sept. 1, but for now I am taking a breather and doing my "turning my back and not thinking about it" routine that I always do to help me get a fresh perspective. That generally is enough to get things sorted out, though this time having some help on a story this long and with as much going as it does is quite the relief. Oi.
