Hi everyone! I was sad to miss the chat yesterday, but I was in my parents' summer cabin and their mobile internet was just not working. /o\

Anyway, I hope you all had a good chat and got some support. Have you got any new ideas? Done any new work on your projects? Or are you stuck, or busy with other things? If you want to, do post a little tidbit of what you're working on for us to see!

The Hillel House resident assistant had called Fraser to the phone with a “Rabbi Fraser, there’s a call for you from Chicago”. Fraser had been told to expect the phone call from an undercover Chicago detective, but Detective Ray Kowalski was not what he had expected.

“Hello, this is the Hillel House phone, Rabbi Benton Fraser answering.”

There was a warm chuckle and the response “ ‘Hello’ is enough, Rabbi Fraser. You always use that many words at once?”

The seemingly chiding words, paired with the friendly tone, flustered Fraser. Rubbing his thumb over his eyebrow, he began to apologize.
Ray interrupted with “Naw, don’t apologize,” and then, his mouth running ahead of his brain as it sometimes did, he said “I like the sound of your voice”.
